I want to take these moments to honor and thank all the military men and women that have so bravely stood up for our country and let's not forget those that lost their life for what they stood and believed in that the Great United States of America is so free and we love to keep it that way. If your one of the hard workers that rarely get a day off I do hope you are enjoying this day. 
This was taken today at our Memorial Day parade.
And....one more thing....can you believe...
the kids had school today! They had to make up their 9th day from snow and hurricane Ike but there was ONLY ONE school district rude enough to MAKE today a school day, pretty sad if you ask me.
